The adhesive application gun is used to apply the special adhesive when installing the UTTS – National Vehicle Identification System – onto vehicles.The National Vehicle Identification System (UTTS) is a system designed to ensure fair competition in the fuel market and combat the informal economy. It enables the automatic transmission and tracking of license plate information from vehicles to fiscal devices connected to fuel pumps.
Vehicle Identification Unit (TTB):
A device mounted on a vehicle’s fuel tank that becomes inoperative if removed and contains non-duplicable data. It can only be supplied by the Turkish State Mint (Darphane) and installed by Authorized Vehicle Installation Companies.
Vehicle Identification Reader (TTO):
A device wirelessly attached to fuel nozzles, which can be supplied by the Turkish State Mint or Authorized TTO Manufacturers and must be installed by Authorized Station Installation Companies.
With this new system:
• The installation of the National Vehicle Identification System (UTTS) at fuel stations is mandatory.
• It is obligatory to equip fuel pumps with the Vehicle Identification Reader Device (TTO).
