Sakurai MK SC-03 Liquid Mold Release Agent

MK SC-03 is a solvent-based, semi-permanent release agent ideal for composite molds. It significantly shortens application time and does not build up on mold surfaces, helping to extend mold life.

Description and Application

Sakurai MK-SC-03 is specifically formulated for the molding of unsaturated polyester resin and fiberglass composites. It is directly sprayed onto the mold, dries quickly, and provides a smooth release without leaving residue on molded parts.

Applications:
Compatible with unsaturated polyester resin, epoxy resin, vinyl ester resin, and acrylic resin.
Recommended for use in applications such as bathtubs, electrolytic tanks, artificial stone, and water tanks.

• Appearance: Clear, colorless liquid

• Density (kg/L at 25°C): 0.70–0.72

• Viscosity (mPa·s at 25°C): 20 ± 5

• pH: 7.0–7.5

• Application Method: Spray directly onto the mold or apply with a brush

• Operating Temperature: Up to 300°C after curing

• Intercoat Dry Time at 20°C: Less than 1 minute

• Full Cure Time at 20°C: 2–3 minutes
