HyboFOAM® CRH PMI (Polymethacrylimide) Foam

HyboFOAM® CRH (Railway High-Speed) is a closed-cell rigid foam plastic based on CFC-free PMI (polymethacrylimide) polymer.It features an exceptionally fine and uniform cell size ranging from 0.1 to 0.3 mm, along with special flame-retardant properties.

Description and Application

HyboFOAM® CRH can be processed at temperatures up to 150°C and a maximum pressure of 0.5 MPa.
Structural components can be manufactured using the following curing methods: autoclave, vacuum bagging, RTM, VARTM, VARI, HP-RTM, and others.
Thanks to its excellent resin absorption characteristics, engineers can achieve an ideal balance between peel strength and lightweight performance.

To accommodate different part sizes and geometries, HyboFOAM® CRH can be easily thermoformed, bonded with various adhesives, and shaped using standard CNC machinery.

Applications
HyboFOAM® CRH has a wide range of applications, particularly in the production of sandwich composite structures such as vehicle and high-speed train interiors and wall panels.
It is suitable for use in environments where flame resistance or flame-retardant materials are required.
