HyboFOAM® E PMI (Polymethacrylimide) Foam

HyboFOAM® E is a closed-cell rigid foam plastic based on CFC-free PMI (polymethacrylimide) polymer. It features an ultra-fine and unique cell size distribution of less than 0.1 mm.

Description and Application

Processing Parameters:
Capable of withstanding temperatures up to 150°C and pressures up to 0.5 MPa.
Structural components can be manufactured using curing methods such as autoclave, vacuum bagging, RTM, VARTM, VARI, HP-RTM, and more.

Thanks to its excellent resin absorption, engineers can achieve an ideal balance between peel strength and lightweight performance.
HyboFOAM® E is easy to thermoform, bond with various adhesives, and machine using standard CNC tools—making it suitable for various part sizes and geometries.

Applications:
HyboFOAM® E has a wide range of applications.
Thanks to its unique density distribution and excellent dielectric properties, it is often used in radomes, antennas, electronics, and acoustic equipment.
